Our Classroom
We have some great things planned for this year! Each day we will work in small groups, play in centers with our friends, and work independently. This will give our kiddos the chance to discover Pre-K on their own and to get to know their classmates.
We will also have lots of variety in the way we learn things. We will do things like play musical instruments and dance, paint and play with play-doh in the art center, we will work in the computer lab, visit the library, read with our upper grade book buddies, and have projects you can do at home, we will listen to stories and look at great books, have science experiments, cooking activities and so much more. They will get to work in centers and play outside every day! They will learn so much and have an AWESOME time doing it! As a matter of fact, we will all work very hard together every day, sharing, caring, and helping so that everyone will have a GREAT time in Pre-K!
We are so excited to have you as a friend!

I am originally from Pensacola, Florida. I graduated from Florida State University (Go Noles!)…although I do root for the Georgia Bulldogs from time to time! I have taught Pre-K in Florida and Georgia and this will be my 14th year teaching (my 9th year here at Arbor Springs). I am married and I do not have any children, but I have one nephew named Sam, who is 21 years old, that I love dearly. You’ll hear more about me from time to time throughout the year as we share information and stories about our families. I like to travel and visit new and exciting places. I also like to work out, run, read and watch NASCAR! My favorite things about Pre-K are reading stories, dancing & singing during music time, and ice cream Fridays!

This will be my 3rd year teaching Pre-K here at Arbor Springs! I am a local and live in Palmetto. I even attended Arbor Springs Elementary as a child!! I have sweet little girl, Harley, who will be in 3rd grade this year. I really enjoy teaching Pre-K and look forward to coming to school each day. My favorite things about Pre-K are going to the playground, story time, and creating in the art center.
